Advanced High Quality Transfer Models
Fully Self-Contained Telecine. This model is based on our popular True Speed machine, with the same basic features and built-in camera and optical system. Please refer to the TS page here for details.
High Grade Built-In 3CCD Camera. Hitachi HV-D30 industrial grade camera with DSP (digital signal processing.) Rated resolution 800 TV lines (or 1067 horizontal pixels.) Highlight knee and many advanced quality features. Outputs are standard BNC video jack, and Y/C S-video 4-pin jack. Cables or adapters are included for your equipment’s BNC, yellow RCA or S-video inputs. In addition we include a power cable, empty reel for take-up, and the instructions. 3CCD cameras are not always in stock and a deposit is required so we can order one for you.
Reel capacity is 400 feet, vs. the 600 feet of the 1CCD version.
Heavy Duty Construction. NOTE: Although most of the machine is rugged, the 3CCD Hitachi camera is delicate. If the camera is dropped or given a hard whack, one or more of the CCD’s can be knocked unglued from the beam-splitting prism, requiring a factory repair job and months of delay, or more realistically, putting in a new camera.
Regular-8 TVT-R8U Available in NTSC or PAL, $5495 Regular-8 locked dual-8 sprocketless mechanism. For purists, we can instead use a manual thread or automatic thread sprocketed mechanism.
Super-8 TVT-S8U Available in NTSC or PAL, constructed using super-8 locked dual-8 sprocketless mechanism, $5495

Options: With the 3CCD camera, we can give you Component Video outputs instead of the usual Y/C and Composite. This adds $100 to the above prices. Please specify whether you want RGB or Y/B-Y/R-Y (Y Pb Pr) signals. If you want to use the Hitachi RC-Z3 fancy remote control unit, let us know and we will cut a hole in the camera cover to clear the cable, and change a camera internal switch setting.

For all telecine models, we recommend that the film be repaired, cleaned and lubricated before transfer. TVT machines are not intended for transfer from negative film.
